There are twelve categories of award in the Wirehive 100. You can enter as many as you like subject to relevance. Entry to the league table is FREE, and for all other categories is £75 per entry. This also gives you a vote for Most Respected Southern Agency (and no... you can’t vote for yourself!)
Wirehive 100 League Table
It's FREE to enter for your chance to feature in the Wirehive 100 League Table. This will be a showcase of the top digital agencies in the South, outside the M25. You will need to provide signed accounts to enter. No figures will be made public. They will purely be used for judging purposes.
As you'd expect, and tempting though it may be, you can't enter this one yourself. This is a peer-nominated category, so you can name the digital agency that's most impressed you over the last year (even if they are a competitor!). After you've paid for your entry you will be given the opportunity to nominate (for free) your most respected Southern agency.
Fast Growth over Three Years
Calling all number-crunchers. How's your CAGR been in the last few years? Maybe it's time to pick up an award for being the fastest growing digital agency in the South East. You'll be judged on your year on year financial results, so show us your track record.
Client website of the year
Whether the website you've created provides hours of entertainment, is just plain practical, or brings in crowds of customers, we want to know more about why it's so successful. We'll be on the lookout for technical and creative excellence, as well as effectiveness supported by testimonials and ROI figures.
Agency website of the year
Want to show off your own shop window? Recently relaunched your website? We want to see the most current, innovative, and advanced practices within an agency's own website. Your site should demonstrate outstanding quality in content, structure, navigation, design, interactivity, functionality, performance and overall experience.
Techie of the year
Do you function in code? Query MySQL rather than life? Or do you know someone that would fit the crown of ‘Techie of the Year’ like a glove? The entry has to be sharp, lively and off-centre. You can enter yourself, or enter for someone else, either way you've got 500 words to tell the Wirehive judges why this award is deserved.
Creative of the year
Do you see the world through divine proportions? Shudder at the thought of Comic Sans? Or do you know someone who deserves the accolade of Creative of the Year? The entry has to be sharp, lively and off-centre. You can enter yourself, or enter for someone else, either way you've got 500 words to tell the Wirehive judges why this award is deserved.
This award recognises the lifeblood of the digital industry - if you've created something amazing this is the category for you. Your technological project has to be impressively innovative. You won't need to show that it's had commercial success yet, but you do need to explain in 500 words, why it should knock the socks off anything the competition has.
Best use of social
If you've been working magic on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and the like, or if you've masterminded a super-successful blog or mobile app, then you could pick up our social media gong. Entries will be judged on the creative use of social platforms and a sound grasp of online consumer behaviour. Judges will be looking for examples of brilliant community building, targeting and engagement strategies, as well as great results.
Best mobile project
Have you created a killer application for mobile or tablet? This category is for any kind of application (apart from web) including augmented reality, mobile games or bespoke e-commerce apps. Judging will be based on how well the platform is bonded to the user need, functionality and user experience, as well as evidence of great results.
Best use of video
If a picture paints a thousand words, then video must be in the six figure ratio. If you've been the artist of an amazing video campaign or project, let us know! Judges will want to see evidence of innovative content and implementation, as well as effectiveness and ROI, supported by clear-cut objectives, audience insight and apt use of channels.
Best use of search
For all you search moguls out there, this award acknowledges outstanding results in natural or paid-for search. You should demonstrate deep understanding of this medium and show creativity, comprehensive strategy and ROI in your campaign.
